# Privacy Policy, DRAFT for Paraneuron (website and Parser), 2026-09-17

Status: a plain-language draft for the launch stage you described: the company website, Parser running in the
browser, and a WAITLIST for paid editions (no accounts, no payments yet). Built on SOL's draft and data inventory in
docs/compliance/ (2026-08-29), narrowed to what is actually live. Blanks are in [square brackets]. I am not a lawyer;
the last section lists what a lawyer must confirm before you publish. No em dashes.

## Privacy Policy

### Who we are

Paraneuron ([legal entity name, once registered], "we") runs the website paraneuron.com and the tool Parser at
parser.paraneuron.com. Questions about privacy: info@paraneuron.com. [Registered address, once it exists.]

### The short version

- Parser does its work in your browser. What you open in Parser is not sent to us.
- Parser keeps your work in your own browser's storage so you can come back to it. It stays on your device until you
  clear it.
- Data leaves your device only when you choose an action that sends it: connecting your own AI provider, exporting or
  sharing a file, or loading custom decoder code that you trust.
- We collect very little: the email you give us for the waitlist or when you write to us, and the ordinary technical
  logs of any website.
- We do not sell personal information and we run no advertising trackers.

### Parser and the data you open in it

**Parsing is local.** When you paste or open data in Parser, it is parsed, searched, compared and displayed inside
your browser. There is no upload step and we operate no service that receives it.

**Your browser stores your work.** So that you can close the tab and return, Parser saves your inputs, tabs, pins and
notes in your browser's storage on your device. We cannot see this storage. Anyone who can use your browser profile
can. To remove it, open Settings in Parser and choose "Erase app data from this browser". Parser asks you to confirm,
then erases all workspaces, custom decoders and cached data from that browser. You can also clear the site data for
parser.paraneuron.com in your browser's own settings. If you work with sensitive data on a shared computer, clear it when you finish.

**Actions that send data off your device, only when you choose them:**

1. **Your own AI provider.** If you connect an AI provider and ask a question, the text you selected goes to that
   provider under your account with them and their terms, not ours. The provider key you enter is stored in your
   browser's storage in plain text; treat it like a password on that device. Parser applies masking to outgoing text,
   but masking is pattern-based and cannot recognise every sensitive value (see "Masking" below). The request goes
   from your browser directly to the provider. It does not pass through any server of ours.
2. **Exports and shared files.** A file you export or a session you save is yours to move. A saved session contains
   your raw input and is not masked automatically.
3. **Custom decoders.** A custom decoder is code you choose to load. It runs with the same access a web page has,
   including the network. Load only code you trust.

**Masking.** Parser can mask common kinds of sensitive values before text is copied, exported or sent to an AI
provider. It works by recognising patterns. No pattern list is complete, so check the result before you share it.

**Visitor statistics on Parser.** Parser's own code contains no analytics or telemetry and sets no cookies. The
Parser page is delivered by Cloudflare, and we use Cloudflare Web Analytics on it to count visits. It uses no cookies
and does not identify you; it reports the page address, the referring page, the browser type and loading times. It
never reads or sends what you open in Parser.

**Visitor statistics on our company website.** paraneuron.com runs on Squarespace, which sets the cookies needed for
the site to work. Squarespace's own visitor statistics cookies are used only if you accept them in the cookie banner.

### Who we share it with

Only the companies that run our infrastructure, and only what they need:

- **Squarespace** (United States) hosts paraneuron.com and stores the waitlist and contact form entries.
- **Cloudflare** (United States, with servers worldwide) delivers Parser at parser.paraneuron.com. It delivers the
  application files to your browser and keeps ordinary delivery logs. It never receives what you open in Parser,
  because that is not sent anywhere.

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for advertising.

### Where it is processed

Our team and our providers are in more than one country, so your information may be processed outside your own.

### Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and leave the waitlist at any time, by writing
to info@paraneuron.com. We answer within [30 days]. Depending on where you live you may have further rights, including
the right to complain to your data protection authority. [Jurisdiction text: Turkey KVKK, EU and UK GDPR, others as
counsel advises.]

Clearing your browser's site data removes what Parser stored on your device. It does not affect anything held by an
AI provider you connected; ask that provider.

### Children

Our sites and Parser are for professional use and are not directed at children under [16].

### Changes

We will post changes here with a new effective date. If a change is significant and we have your email, we will tell
you before it takes effect.

### Later editions

Accounts, teams, template sync and payments are not available yet. When they launch, this policy will be updated
first to describe exactly what those services receive and keep.
